For everyone in this thread that doesnt understand why french is still present in canada, you need to understand the facts.
First is that most canadians do not speak or understand french, people in all of canada are mostly entirely english in the same level as american. The only exception to this rule is the province of Quebec. A territory with about 8 millions people where 95% of the population speaks native french and where government put places that disallow the use of english sign or usage in society. As a result, quebec is entirely different in language and people there are extremely different than the rest of canada. There is no place in america where such divide exist.
The reason for this clear divide is history and why quebec is rightfully french. Quebec is the cornerstone of north american greatness, it was a french colony and was the first colonization of the america as we know it. French colonizers colonized an area before any other europeans that is about the same as quebec and north eastern america. What happened is that later, the british invaded the french colony and forced their imperalism on everyone. The french lost the war, and the british took over quebec. The rest is its own history, a part of these british decided to found what is now known as the united states. And the other part was for the british sympathizers which settled north in canada. In all of history, the french speakers who were the original people of the eastern america were simply left over. America growed as a economic superpower left of quebec, while canada was a british colony. The quebecers were as a result oppressed by this english forced on them by both their own country and neighbour. Both canada and the us were english, and quebec people that were there before both of them, were now left over into needing to integrate with people that were nothing like them.
Quebec is a remnent of the old world. Of the french people that originally colonized eastern northem america. The reason we dont integrate with the rest is that we arent cucks. We were able to successfully preserve our language, people and culture when everything was stacked agaisnt us. No such things as happened in the us. America assimilated everything, people slowly adopted english as a result. The quebec are the remnent of brave resilient people who were able to fight a majority of english bureaucrats who wanted them integrated.
Quebec is whitest and least culturally diverse place in america. We have the lowest crime rate as a result, laws that prohibit non french speaker for coming. French is the language that quebec people have because its their language. Quebec was colonized by the french, quebec city was a french settling place. We dont succomb to invaders. And quebec will hopefully become its independent rightful country outside of influence from the british canada and america imperalism. And dont try to come here telling us we need to be english because fuck you.
