i see so many of you incels posting about "how to convince my ortho to give me mse, headgear"

if ur paying and have a narrow palette why dont orthos care to take ur opinions, didnt they learn aesthetics in school

“I’ll consent and pay” isn’t defensible as far as standard of care and the patient’s best interests are concerned. You would also flag up BDD if you’re asking for ortho devices when you don’t need them, so they’ll reject you rightfully based on that. It’s why many surgeons till recently would reject a lot of clients with evident BDD.
