Why do some peoples esr’s not look like their measurement

People like Zayn Malik, Timothée Chalamet, and Jordan barret all have esr’s on the low end yet their eyes still look normal set in most photos/ I didn’t even realize they had close set eyes

eye depth affects camera distortion, the shallower set your eyes are the larger they appear in photos, even if you have above average eyes if they're deep set and hooded they can appear tiny.

same effect occurs on the nasal bridge, the more projected your nose the larger it looks on photos in general.

it's a combination of deep set eyes + nose projection.

My eyes are really deep set so that’s maybe why they look closer in my id pic than in the mirror

I want to get lower eyelid retraction but I’m so scared I heard it had a high botch rate and I will end up looking Asian.
