Can’t we just enjoy life without working? The system is fucked.

If nobody works the system doesn’t, you trade your services and time for currency that you can trade for whatever you like

Because  they control the money printers
you were born to work for money till you die while they just print it out of thin air

I predict that we won't be working for long. People are afraid that AI will take our jobs and that may very well be the case but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. With the advent of AI language models, advanced personal robots, and VR and AR glasses we are likely approaching a utopian scenario where most people in the united states will no longer have to work.

We'll finally be able to explore science, philosophy, art, and spirituality and accelerate our ascension into a genetically modified and cybernetically enhanced species of partially synthetic superhuman

Unless of course the rich and powerful put a stop to this as corporations and government have an incentive to maintain the current power dynamic

Within the next 10 years actually. You have no clue how fast AI is learning. Technology is advancing at an exponential rate. Think about how much society changed from 1899 to 1930. People went from living in the fields to populating huge cities with massive sky scrapers. Society is about to change. This all started back in 1999. Many people already had personal computers that could access the internet. You niggas have little foresight

I do have an idea, I have a degree in computer science and interface with AI almost everyday, both personally and on an enterprise scale

Businesses can't afford the infrastructure required to train proprietary models

And even if they could, you've now got a LLM trained on a specific product domain in most cases lacking sufficient documentation which means it can largely architect inefficient code that cannot be used at scale or create systems that don't break the rules in the right areas for the given moment because you can break the rules in some areas for increased efficiency. What does this result in? Sloppy and shit code, which is regurgitated to the training model now producing an infinite recursion of incestual dogshit code

The only realistic scenario I can see is the advancement of robotics replacing labor-intensive jobs, but we've been promised autonomous driving for the last decade and are yet to see that occur

This is just the tip of the iceberg

But I'd love to hear your thoughts on how AI will eliminate the need for work within the next decade
