Why do you think looksmaxing is right-wing?

I dont care that it is, I am too, but it seems like almost everyone in this space is also super far right. Why do you think that is?

I've never seen it (directly) framed as being "right-wing", though I don't doubt there's a strong correlation.

Philosophically, the main reason is that it goes against the very core tenets of modern Leftism, which is a strong denial of anything that is remotely "hierarchical" (X is better/superior to Y) or that is indicative of "inherent" objective value. It has a strong fetish for equality of outcome, and shoves its head in the sand regarding anything that indicates otherwise.
In other words, nothing is inherently different than something else, it's all a social construct, and even if it is, there's no objective value difference between them, it's all a subjective (and bigoted) preference.

i.e.

It's a deeply emotional, feminine, and childish logic. They love "blank-slatism".
Lookism is about exposing the somewhat harsh reality that some people are better looking than others, that they get appropriate treatment for that, that while somewhat subjetive these standards are often agreed upon by most people, that they're correlated with genetic/reproductive health, and that they often align with views that the left considers "problematic" (light/euro features, thinness/fitness, "traditionally masculine/feminine", "toxic"/dominant personalities in men, meek/submissive in women, etc)
It goes straight against the feminine cope of having a "good heart/personality ^^". Not the shallow/evil/objectifying external appearance.

Unstable/neurotic fatty foids can't emotionally cope with the fact that they're utterly inferior to a Stacy, so they start crap that it's all a plot from the fashion/fitness/hollywood industry. That's where "body positivity" (the opposite of lookism) came from. All bodies are *equally* beautiful no matter what, and that if you disagree is because you've been brainwashed, etc. And that she doesn't need to do anything (often because she failed) about it. The fact that even mids can easily get (shallow) sex/attention from the opposite sex doesn't help this.

A smaller, secondary part is that another significant psychological difference between more left vs more right aligned people, is that of locus of control.

Lefties have a temperamental tendency to have an external locus of control, that is, being an NPC. You're merely an spectator of your life. Everything that happens to you or somebody, is either luck (if it's good and to others) or someone else's fault (if to you and bad). You can't change anything. There's no merit. The rich cheated/inherited. You're oppressed. A victim. Marginalized. The pRiVeLeGeD groups (who are allegedly not superior in any way) control your life and hold you down. "Dieting doesn't work", "this is how my body is", "I have muh thyroid problems".

Right-aligned people tend to have a more internal locus of control. That is, I am responsible for my destiny, I can control my life (at least partially), I am accountable for my actions and should pay for my mistakes (common in religious doctrine). Other people should pay for *their* mistakes, not me (smaller leniency with criminals, social programs, etc)
The other significant part of lookism is about trying to improve what you can, from what you have, even if just a little bit. Not forcing people to date uglies.

Lastly, on a more shallow biological level, men who are more concerned or actively trying to have sex, probably have higher T levels or Androgenic sensitivity/activity. And this is one of the main goals of looksmaxxing, and related to rightwing-ness.
It's also a somewhat self-centered pursuit, and I *think* that right-leaning people are more individualist, on average.

ehh, it has something to do with how incels usually go the redpill route before going black-pill. And accepting the blackpill usually also means accepting that there is a hierarchy of looks where different ethnicities are treated like less since their ethnic features don’t adhere to the beauty standard.
