Why do you think my orthodontist didnt wanna give me a palatal expander?

I wore an expander for my 3rd tooth to the right to come down,after they told me just to stop wearing the expander without wearing it at night which confused me

-In the 3rd pic if you compare it to second you can see my teeth are like more crowded.

But all in all my palate is narrow i did had an appointment last week and BELIEVE ME i bragged so much to them to give me an expander I told them i sleep with my mouth open which is true and that i bite myself sometimes while eating which is true and they told me everything is perfect??
Im not sure where to go now,cause thats like an university and they told me to stop watching shit from the social media and that im perfect??
im really mad,like i do look good but i know my palate is narrow.

Any tips guys,do i just leave it be? i turn 18 in december.

Damn some other guy told me it was narrow,i guess i was just coping then idk. I look really stupid now but i just wanted to make sure because on my last post only one guy answered and he said my palate was narrow but ig i dont neeed it. Why do you think my mouth sleeping is cause by then? When i tape my mouth i find it hard to sleep and i wake up a lot during the night. i also drool sometimes when i sleep. and regardit the biting during eating, ig just eat slower

My palate is much more narrow than your and i have no problem sleeping with my nose ig thers is just smth wrong with your nose i had my tonsilsbremoved whenni was young bcuz i snoored so much idrk how to answer this ig its just how you have been sleeping your wholenlife and its just the norm for u now if u start trying to breath with your nose thru the day and then you can maybe hradualy start sleeping with your nose or smth

My palate is much more narrow than your and i have no problem sleeping with my nose ig thers is just smth wrong with your nose i had my tonsilsbremoved whenni was young bcuz i snoored so much idrk how to answer this ig its just how you have been sleeping your wholenlife and its just the norm for u now if u start trying to breath with your nose thru the day and then you can maybe hradualy start sleeping with your nose or smth

i breath trough my nose during the day.maybe smth is wrong with my nose ig.but i only caught myself with my mouth open when i wake up on my back,when i wake up on my side sometimes its ok,sometimes i drool.
And for the biting idk just eat better .

Palate expander wouldn't ascend you anyway. I got one, definitely functional improvement but aesthetics didn't change at all really. And I was 15 with a much narrower palate than yours, I suspect it'd do even less at nearly 18. Hell, you might need the surgery assisted version of the treatment at that point.

If you can breathe fine most of the time, trust me just don't waste the money on it. As for mouth breathing in sleep get some medical tape off Amazon. It's cheap as hell, non-toxic and works much better than any of the looksmax tiktoker promoted garbage mouth tape.

Thank you,yeah i think i was just brain-washed into thinking a palate expander is going to turn me a chad. And Im already happy with my looks.As for the mouth tape,i dont do it daily cause i notice i wake up during the night and i generally have worse sleep and it takes me a longer time to fall asleep.
