Those fields are completely oversaturated with Indians now, to the point where studying them is a meme

Indians are no longer studying medicine, like the stereotype

It's perfect job for subhumans since they can just work from home and avoid the negative halo effect.

I'm personally doing the same due to similar reasons

Well most Asians go for stem since they're blessed with high iqs, subhuman and highly non confrontational. Perfect inexpensive cogs in a machine

Lol studying engineering is the one thing those curry jeets got right. Engineering is one of the few degrees that are worth it and can never be 'oversaturated' because there's always demand for it someplace in the world

Yeah but they never go into science research or anything. It’s always engineering or tech jfl

Gigacope
There are more graduates than jobs
Medicine and veterinary medicine are the only two degrees I’d say are legitimately worth it, but are very competitive to get into

Shut the fuck up you liberal arts nigger if med and taking care of dogs like you were the only two degrees that are worth taking then why dont step out and live in a mudhut instead of the infrastructures civil engineers have built

It's cause research is highly stressful especially with experiments that need to be carefully conducted with highly controlled environments meanwhile engineering and tech are usually simple once you can get the basics of it which Asians have an affinity for

Point null when you consider the competition
That’s like saying “just become a software engineer bro” because jobs exist, ignoring the fact there are probably 100 people per opening

And I didn’t take either of those degrees. I wish I had taken vet med tho

So what yr saying is you shouldnt go to college if you're not doing med because all other degrees are worthless

For most, they’d be better off doing an apprenticeship or just networking
Most don’t even require a degree

If you’re going to uni, you should study medicine is what I’m saying. You should apply for it, but you might not get it. It’s the best way of getting a somewhat interesting, high paying job that will grant you visas and actually has opportunities

Bullshit. Networking without uni is the most cope nonsense I've heard. I'm a basement dwelling loser who works at mcdonald's but even I've been to uni and dropped out and seen all the degreeless losers like myself working the same low wage jobs whilst I keep getting linkedin notifs of my other uni friends with a degree in real jobs.

And yet the only two people I know who studied engineering at uni (one of the top in my country for it) are either unemployed or working as a waiter

It’s simply not worth going to university to study those courses when you realise how over it is. People are being sold a false dream. I’m trying to prevent others making this mistake. Med school is way more competitive to get into because they don’t accept far more students than they need. That’s why if you get into it and do well, you’re likely to get a job, rather than studying a degree and then realising you can’t get a job

It's because things are bad right now, lol. Just wait a couple of years and those friends are going to land great jobs. Im only speaking for Engineering tho not IT.
