why does lighting make me look so much better

so i just recently started looksmaxing and i noticed my face casts weird shadows making it look way worse. also hair on my sides makes me look much more attractive. is there anyway to achieve looking like i do in good lighting all the time? is there anything i can do to improve my jaw being less round? what haircut should i get?

Bro this is just simple film and tv stuff. Lighting will divert shadows and will highlight or hide certain aspects of your body. It's why good lighting is literally goated.
