Why does music have much higher repeatability than movies?

If music is the pleasure demoted to the vibration in your ear and movies to the province of the eyes then why is it that movies have no repeatibility value? I could listen to the same album around 300 times and not get bored, while even with GOAT movies its hard to sit through one after youve already watched it. Why is this the case?

U don’t have to focus and can do other stuff with music. You need to actively sit down and leave time for film

idk what music you listen to but not paying attention to it/having it run in the background is only possible w dungeon synth or post rock.

Movies are more time consuming

The average movie is based on storytelling, and it's plot driven, once you fully know the plot isn't the same.

Movies require full attention: how many times you put music and do something else? You can't do that with movies

i think there are some movies which dont require that like satantango stalker 2001a space odyssey etc but they stil ldont have the same repeatibility as music, maybe its the time frame but i have listened to 2 hour albums track to track on a stretch

My guess would be a way higher sensory input and therefore processing, you can afford to not actively listen to music aswell while you are doing it, can't do it with a movie. The actual time you are listening is probably much smaller than what you think too.
