Why does my dad wristmog me so much

My wrists are 6.6-6.7 inch and his are 7.5 inches. Do older men just have larger wrists for some reason?

yeah wrists seem to grow with age. forearms too, 50 y/o dudes all have thick ass wrists and forearms
