Any brands besides simpletics and based you would recommend?Hair autist with 1A here:
1. Make sure you're blow drying your hair when it's damp and blow dry upside down if you need more volume. I like to comb my hair with a wet comb into the style I'm going for before I blowdry. Blowdry with warm air first, then cool hair to lock it in.
2. Make sure you have actual good hair products, not the cheap shit you find at the pharmacy. Use a good pre-styler like Reuzel grooming tonic, blow dry, add a pomade or matte paste depending one what type of finish you want. Reuzel Green (oil based) is great for a shinier/slicker finish, Arcadian Matte Paste or Sickmore Clay Fiber (water based) for a more natural look.
3. You can use a hairspray if you're using a matte/water based pomade. Hairspray is the only thing hair product I'll buy at a pharmacy. Don't use hairspray with an oil based pomade because those are meant to be restyleable thought the day and generally have a better hold. Also don't overdo it, just a few quick sprays on all sides.
4. None of this matters if your haircut sucks. Make sure you go to a barber that knows what they're doing and show them a picture of a haircut you're looking for.
Tbh any sea-salt spray brand should be fine, I've tried about 3 different ones and they've all given me the same results.Any brands besides simpletics and based you would recommend?
