Why does my smile seem narrow?

Can someone help me understand why my smile looks so narrow?

When I smile I only see about 6 prominent teeth. The outer two of those don’t even face forward. I’ve tried looking up similar smiles online but I can’t find any examples that match this. Maybe a keyword issue but idk.

But I observe other people's smiles and notice that their front teeth aren't this wide. Is that my problem?

Orthodontically I have somewhat of a narrow palate but I’m not sure if that’s the reason for my 6-teeth smile. Because even if I expanded my palate and brought 2-4 more teeth forward I’m just not convinced they would even show when I smile as you can see:

Are my front teeth just unusually wide? Is this a palate width issue? Is it about how my lips frame my teeth? Something else entirely?

And if my front teeth are just wide should I get veneers that narrow down my teeth? And re-adjust the teeth placement via Invisalign etc?

My lips don't look horrible at rest so I can't tell if this is a lip problem. But idk?

Has anyone had something similar or understands what's happening?

Look at these smiles for example dude they have 8-10 teeth properly showing mine look just deformed compared to these

yes like the dark spaces are due to ur smile not being wide enough

I’m planning on larping sleep apnea for jaw surgery anyways tbh I’ll try the marpe as well ty brother

say you have sleep apnea and can't breath at night through your nose properly and if they test you by laying you down and letting you breath just subtly snore then you get an expander
