Legit in general. When I make a conscious effort to walk with my shoulders back, head up and back, and swing my arms in a slightly exaggerated manner so my biceps and triceps flex, I get more IOIs. I tend to walk fast, I will experiment with walking slow as the OP suggests, but I am skeptical that works.
