People talk about self-hating non-whites here sometimes, but nobody talks about this.
There are literally areas of the USA where there is a deep-seated culture where the apex of the ethnic hierarchy isn't white (particularly phenotypically germanic white), instead, the apex is like being mixed race american or meditteranean or latino or anything that is light brown or medium brown with wavy/curly hair (colored eyes still a bonus)
You can see this on the west coast, hawaii, new england and major cities in the usa. Apparently it's like this in germany, paris, london, etc.
I've seen this many times throughout my lifetime to be frank and I don't even live in a major city.
on top of that, a fair amount of them were californians who moved down to the south.
They often have an implicit assumption (to some degree) that whites are lame, boring, nerdy, has a tendency to be flat (in the case of women) who were raised permissively. I could go on.
Some things I've noticed that these people will identify with their ancestry "I'm dutch and italian" since it's cool to not just be "white"
they also get into inter-ethnic/inter-racial relationships more often since other ethnicites/races are higher up on the status ladder.
Sometimes it goes so far as to try to be as tan as possible or to adapt hairstyles, mannerisms, etc. that aren't stereotypically "white".
It just goes to show the power of demography on social hierarchies.
It's an unfortunate experience to feel this way about yourself, no matter who you are.
