Why does the PSL rating system even exist?

Why the fuck does such a shitty, unreliable and autistic rating system even exist? It is :

1-) Capped at 8 (and this only happened because PSL users wouldn’t give a higher rating than 8/10 to anyone)

2-) Rates people based off how many autistic “iDeAl ” features they have

3-) somehow doesn’t take into account appeal to females which is literally all that matters since that’s who you want to slay, not homosexuals here

The rating system should be based off appeal and appeal only. Which is why any non-autistic, non-homosexual person would know that this is what low tier normie looks like :

NON LOOKS RELATED things, at least indirectly are what mostly determine your attractivity :
Objectively, for pure survival purpose, having deeper set eyes, bigger brow ridges, chins etc, are considered more attractive due to this purpose - this is the mere purpose of PSL.
But the fact is, soft power - culture - plays a bigger part in that, which explains why in the west those dudes with lower PSL can have higher SMV - or what you call having appeal to women - and that in the east for example or in asia, having "bones" is seen as ugly because it refers to beeing poor most of the time in the culture.
Same as why some isolated tribes, where studies where made, found uglier the males models they were shown and prefered their own aboriginals.
