I'm in France (supposedly a developed country), the percentage of guys my age (19), who have yellow teeth is really high (like 20%)

The next level to this is that teeth aren’t important if your oral hygiene isn’t perfected. I’ve seen plenty of straight toothed plebs with caveman level oral hygiene.

Floss 2x a day and brush 2x a day for 2 mins. Scrape tongue 2x a day = peak hygiene
