Why doesn’t finasteride work for everyone?

Finasteride only works for around 86% of guys, which is still really good, but I am wondering why doesn’t it work for everyone.

I am Norwood 2.5 at 21 and I’m worried that taking fin just won’t work for me.

Because some men just bald so aggressively, that even the reduced scalp dht still causes them to bald. Also you won’t know if Fin is working for you until atleast 6 to 12 months from starting it.

It’s overkill if you don’t need it, and you’re stopping the production of neurosteroids by reducing both types of alpha reductase which can lead to problems long term.

But if you’re blasting gear you probably need Dut or you can kiss your hairline goodbye

You can use topical DHT or some steroid.

This is broscience I don't have anything to back up, just a thought. But avodart could prevent the body conversion, specially of you do it topical combined. And keep a regular neuro steroid level that will reach brain, dick and body distributed with little effect on hair.

Technically theres the theory that if u blast high level of avodart (brand,) and use it topical and systemic, then u inject test you're forcing a higher level of test that converts to e and 0 dht which helps your hair. You could cycle some aromatize inhibitor weekly or so...
