When I had a social circle, the girls who I actually got anywhere with added me on socials, texted me first, drunk texted me, etc. But even with them, when I texted first I got ignored, flaked on, etc. So the let them come to me attitude was really drilled into my head, but that only worked when I had status.

Now I would rather have a girl who answers my texts and gives me her time than the other way around, if it has to be one or the other, and maybe it does.
