Why exactly are peoples physical features so indicative of their overall personality/mannerisms?

For example, a lot of prisoner mugshots all have hunter eyes/very low trust eye area. People who tend to be NT and trustworthy have higher set brows, and a more open eye area. My two theories are either:

1) People with certain features are treated a certain way growing up, this ends up molding their overall personality

or

2) These features (along with stuff like compact midface, wide fwhr, wide jaw, and overall robust skull) are due to their hormonal makeup such as high testosterone which in turn immediately wires them with a more aggressive/dominant personality out of the womb.

No but we tend to associate faces with certain personalities, even if we would perceive someones personality as different if they had a different face.
for instance downturned mouth and frown lines on eyebrows, postitve tilted and some other things kinda make me look low trust, and people at church have asked me why im angry when i'm not. Someone else had talked to my sister and said I was mean when I literally had never spoken to them besides an occasional hello when I walked into services.

I'm just a quiet, high inhib, cuckish, overly friendly person IRL
