I am so tired of seeing crap about facial exercises and how they can remodel or face, they just cant. So I'm making this post firstly, to tell you why they don't work , and then tell you some softmaxxes that can help you look better.
They Don’t Change Bone Structure
Facial aesthetics are primarily determined by bone : zygomatic width, mandibular projection, orbital depth.
Exercises like chewing gum or “face yoga” target soft tissue, which has minimal impact after puberty.
You can’t sculpt bone with movement.
2. Muscle Growth Is Marginal
Things like chewing gum may help fix marginal jaw asymmetry but it wont help actually change your jaw.
Facial muscles are small and not built for hypertrophy.
Even with resistance (e.g. mastic gum), the gains are minimal and often result in puffiness, not definition.
You won’t get a sharp jawline from chewing you’ll get a swollen masseter.
3. Mewing Is Posture, Not Remodeling
Tongue posture helps with cervical alignment and breathing,
but it doesn’t remodel bone in adults. Obviously as a child if you don't hold correct tongue posture
this will majorly impact how the bones form, but after this stage it wont change your face.
Any visible change is usually due to fat loss or posture correction not actual bone change.
Finally moving on to some SIMPLE softmaxxes that you can do:
- Skin Quality: Use tretinoin, niacinamide, and sunscreen. Micro needling + peptides can help with texture and collagen.
- Fat Distribution: Stay lean. Subcutaneous fat hides bone structure.
- Hormonal Optimization: High testosterone and DHT improve skin thickness, vascularity, and facial masculinity.
- Sleep: sleep is literally one of the most important things, if you have a bad sleep schedule you will look tired and honestly unhygienic.
- hairmaxxing: try grow your hair out and take care of it, this will make people perceive you better.
i swr to diddy if i see another facial exercise post Ima crash out
