Why girls publish so many Instagram stories?

I mean....I can understand influencers because it's their "job"...but normal girls, why they do it?
There is this girl I like that publish so many stories....and she isn't an influencer with thousands of followers (she has a couple hundreds) and she is definitely not dumb. She in 25yo, graduated from one of the most prestigious university and she works as a manager in a top Fortune 500 company (big tech company).
But she seems like a teenager posting all those stories...otherwise she is very smart and mature

Why they publish so much stories...is it for attention? validation? want to see who view their stories? want their crush to comment on their stories?
