Why has my alcohol tolerance decreased so much?

I get significant vasodilation and a drop in blood pressure after consuming rather low quantities of alcohol (e.g. one 11 US fl oz/.33 l can of 10% vol. rum + coke), even when drinking frequently. Why is that? My alcohol tolerance decreased dramatically when I used minoxidil (which also is a potent vasodilator and reduces blood pressure) but I haven’t been using it for a long time. I feel like it indeed is mostly due to vasodilation/drop in blood pressure. How can I prevent this? The caffeine (vasoconstrictor) in mixed drinks doesn‘t seem to counterbalance these effects. My alcohol tolerance used to be much higher a few years ago (weight loss?)

My liver is fine. Only issue I‘vd had for five years for whatever reason is occasional gallbladder attacks when eating too much saturated fat. No abnormalities detected tho (e.g. gallstones)

I‘ve initially lost a lot of weight (both muscle and fat) but recently gained some weight back due to overeating. Alcohol tolerance still decreased tho

What about you? Any idea?
Minox causes histamine reaction in your body, and histamines can bind to 4 different receptors:

The H1 receptor can cause skin issues such as rash, itching, skin permeability, heart palpitations, stomach issuess

The H2 receptor is the similar to the H1

The H3 is insomnia, anxiety.. This is not to think lightly about

H4 binds to bone marrow.

You can be suffering from all of these at once if the histamines are high enough. As far as alcohol intolerance goes, i forgot how to increase tolerance, but i have my own hypothesis since gut bacteria feeds off of the carbohydrates, so introducing good bacteria to your gut might have actually help you. This is just my hypothesis, i don't know whether improvements are significant or not, but try ingesting some probiotics before drinking to check my theory
