The film would be like what American Psycho or Fight club were when they came out. I heard that theyre gonna remake american psycho but why don;t they make a movie surrounding topics of BP, and male insecurity and the struggles that young insecure men go through?

I just read the synopsis and It seems relevant but I feel like its not representative of the average person who doesn't have some terrible genetic condition, theyre just average or slightly below average but still struggle to belong and socialise.
