Why i dont lie about my height

If someone asks i say 5'11 im really 182cm which is 5'11.65 I think but its funny when an adult i know is like damn how tall are you now i say 5'11 and then they compare height and they are like im 6'3 no way your 5'11 and they are 1.5 inches taller max same happens with kids

i do the same, 177cm (5'9.75) but i just tell people im 5'9. I dont like lying about dumb shit like this cuz it just creates distrust in any relationship

Yeah and then i cant get called ou if anything I'll look better like when my teacher measured me at 6'1 infromt of the whole class (my shoes add one inches so with them im like 6'0.65

also worth noting is that height perception can be a bit subjective - people tend to round up or down based on the situation and their own height references.
