Why i stopped chewing (it is a cope and will looksmin u)

I made a thread promoting chewing and showing before and afters but i forgot to mention the downsides of chewing


The issue with chewing is that it doesnt lead to a more aesthetic face. It makes ur jaw wider sure but it also trains ur temporal muscles just as much. Ur temporal muscles cause ur head to appear wide and give u a box head look.

I noticed that like last month the sides of my head started appearing bigger and i had to stop

Luckily the effect was reversed and wasnt permenant

This led me to realize that if stopping that made it go back to normal its likely the same with the jaw muscles. Most likely chewing was just giving me some placebo gains combined with some temporary swelling/bloating of the massateers

I also noticed when i chew for a long time my jaw didnt even look better. I would look like a bloated chipmunk. I wouldve been better off just trying to get hollow cheeks.

I also noticed after about two months of quitting my jaw is basicaly back to square 1 it looks slightly bigger but thats likely due to just genetic development.

I also feel my jaw and notice that all of it is pretty much carried by bone, if it was muscle u would be able to feel some tender muscle but i couldnt even feel it

There was slight protrusion of my masteers but my jaw enveloped around it anyways creating pretty much all of the shape and my masateers were more in my cheek region rather than my jaw region. This is likely what caused the chipmunk look

Not to mention if u chew for too long ull eventually just develop TMJ luckily i didnt develop it.

Stop chewing it is cope and even if it works ull just look like a bloated dumb squirrel with temporary gains after

Your jaw muscles are SLOW TWITCH not FAST TWITCH meaning increasing their size is nearly impossible. They are only going to bloat just like when u workout any part of your body u get a pump. However this bloat wont even be aesthetic like with orher muscles since the bloat envelops mainly ur cheek area

You also need PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD especially in SLOW TWITCH muscle fibers if u think 30 mins of gum chewing is enough for anything permanent u are a retard. And unlike ur other muscles ur jaw muslces arent even built for significant progressive overload as overloading them will just result in TMJ. U also will get muscle atrophy if u stopped chewing

If u open ur mouth while chewing it will be worse. I did it closed mouth and still developed a box shaped head. It doesnt matter how u do it the same muscles are still in use. When u close ur mouth the temporalis and other muscles along ur head are working

Nah my massaters look better now because I use to work them. With low enough bodyfat they did give me a jawline (dont go overboard tho)

Interesting take. I did not have the same experience with jaw exercising. I think my jaw looks significantly better now (you can judge by yourself by looking at my before and after pictures on this thread : https://looksmax.org/threads/my-jaw-maxxing-transformation.1239402/#post-18552714)

I think though that you have to "get it right" meaning that you need to choose a jaw exerciser that makes you chew in a natural way (where you are directly chewing with your molars and focusing on putting as less tension as possible on your cheeks) and you must go progressively with it in terms of time under tension and rigidity of the exerciser.

I too had some TMJ issues when going overboard initially, but it went away after stopping for a few days and after resuming to less time under tension and less extreme chewing.

Also there is a limit to how much wider you can get your jaw without having the bloated/hamster face you're speaking of. The secret is to do these exercises in moderation so it can make your jaw around 1 to 3 mm thicker on each side (noticeable improvement for most poeple) and then find a "maintenance" routine where you just do enough to keep your gains without causing any long term TMJ issues.

some things u cant change without surgery. Do your research, as far as i know its not possible
 
huge temporalis muscles looks uncanny when your lateral zygos aren't much developed. in case of prominent lateral zygos more massive temporalis muscle creates an angle above the zygos which is beneficial for attractiveness

I did do a lot of research on eye lightening. Having blue or green eyes would give me at least 2 appeal points, no joke. Tried filters and i fell in love with it. Mom has ocean blue eyes but the brown genes won

i realised this a few years ago and ascended my jaw by focusing on the bone instead
 
Take roids then, basically the only way without implants

It probably does work just depends on your insertions and shit
