anakin was the chosen one who would bring balance to the force

He lived up to the prophecy at the end of return of the Jedi by killing palpatine

Then in the sequels it’s revealed that palpatine survived it all, so anakin didn’t even fulfill the prophecy

I mean, seriously what fan did they think would be happy about that?

It sucks because it was pretty much a rehash of the original trilogy

Anakin didn't bring the galaxy into balance by yeeting Palpatine tho. He did it by assisting the Jedi genocide.

By the end of Revenge of the Sith there were 2 sith and 2 jedi. Sounds pretty balanced to me.

I always thought more “balanced” equals more Jedi

Because the dark side are evil and unpredictable

That's your biased worldview constructed by Jedi cult propaganda and brainwashing. :bigbrain:

The only 2 issues with this logic is that

1) there were more than 2 Jedi after order 66
2) the prophecy was about destroying the dark side

No idea if it’s really “balance” in that sense
