Why in India everyone wants to become western

like i see many people mostly upper caste, they speak english and wear western type clothes and listen to western songs, they tryhard to look like whites i dont get it, why cant they speak normal hindi language and stop trying wannabes, most of them even want to go abroad to live and its extremely common
