Using the word as an insult works perfectly because it perfectly aligns with everything that leftoids defend, which is basically the complete decadence and degeneration of their own society.

It implies that men should be shamed for having low SMV, and therefore, to be highly regarded as a person, you should try to please women, sexually. That means, taking care of your looks, trying to earn more so you can betabuxx, trying to defend women as a white knight to get their approval, etc. By pretending that sex is what defines your value, women are automatically getting advantages by the simple fact a man is successfully shamed because of his SMV.

Other than their sexual worth, women are inferior to men in every single aspect. So to keep their power, women make everything about sex. TV shows are about sex, movies are about sex, music only talks about sex, games need sex, everything is all about sex, 24/7. Women keep sex as the main subject of every discussion because a woman keeping the discussion about sex is like a fish trying to stay in water. It's their safe space, their arena, their zone, its the only subject in which they are always the winners.

Sex is something that everyone wants, deep inside. We all evolved to crave sex and reproduce. Shaming sexless men for not having sex is like shaming a hobo for being poor or a handicap for being disabled. It's because they know its an disadvantage and nobody wants to be in that situation.
So even though the word was used to describe incel and all the problems that come with a life without affection (the word "incel" is a terrible word and definitely does not give them justice) it was taken by women and homos and is now used as a way to shame any man who criticizes their maniacal behavior. It is a defense mechanism to keep them at an advantage.
Although being sexless sucks, it is not the measurement of your value as a person, the antidote is not to try to cope by pretending to be volcel like the MGTOWs, its by taking the conversation away from sex as much as possible, and shame/mock women for constantly trying to bring the conversation to sex, showing how they are primitive creatures (which they are btw) that can't get into any discussion without trying to change the subject to sex.
