I would say it is quite popular and more normal to be an atheist because, what you find in many atheists their fear of other energies they are unaware of like a being such as a god, makes many people uncomfortable because it is an higher power its too much to process and they don't see the benefit of having faith in things such as luck, magnetism or even the law of attraction. Those past few words are what I would consider 'God' to me.. We don't live in any form of a perfect reality and even here we are having a discussion about peoples lack of faith in really the organization of just the realm we live in.

Just throw terms around without actually explaining anything. Very high IQ. Universe is either eternal or it came into being. None of that explains it. Why do the laws of physics operate the way they do? If you say the multi-verse you just arrive at the same problem. If you say it's just a brute fact that's no better than "God did it". Doesn't explain why there's something rather than nothing.

If you want details and you are curious, ask your physics teacher (you should have asked her when she asked if you had any questions at the end of the class, but you preferred to remain silent then) or ask Google/ChatGPT, because they are able to provide scientific sources for their statements, and they are more reliable than a random anonymous dude from the internet like me

2. The fact that we are just monkeys who, only a few hundred years ago, threw rocks at each other, ate each other, raped any woman, and killed enemy tribes, so that today we still do not have (yet) the technology, information and experimental scientific equipment necessary to understand how extremely complex things (like what atoms did and what they were doing billions of years ago in specific conditions that are difficult to replicate) work..
