i never understood the deep desire for unnecessary attention that a lot of forum members experience. why do people have this urge to get this attention and validation from others? i just get that feeling a lot on .org

cuz of sense of community, it is completely natural. If you were in a small town you would like all the people to like your existence and be friendly with you, it releases good chemicals. When your in big cities (most org users are) that dont get that in real life because everyone is an NPC who doesnt talk to each other, you try to find attention and validation else where. I am guilty of this but its all cope and its never fucking enough.

This is true, I mean there’s nothing wrong for wanting validation for your existence, it’s just human

It's about being a NPC or not
Non-NPCs don't care about attention
