We don't live in Stalin time. European governments are scared because protests are easily sparked and usa population is also pretty angry. These restrictions can only happen in Canada, Australia and a few other shithole countries

If the government decides to crack on your rights, do not think your protests going to save you. Demonstrated in infinitely many countries.

The only thing that is saving e.g. the US, is that there is pluralism: multiple clans of elites that fight each other. Thus, they do not allow the other clan to fully control the country. If not this, would be EASILY WORSE than in STALIN'S TIMES. Because Stalin did not have NSA and motion tracking cameras, while the US DOES.
