It’s pretty common that very smart people have a lot of sophisticated knowledge and view the world differently, so therefore they lack the skills and knowledge on how to do things that might seem very easy for others like socialisation and being neurotypical.

There must be some correlation between IQ and how well you perform socially, how many friends you have etc. I think it’s pretty safe to say that people with lower IQ tend to be more social, have more friends and act more low inhib in certain situations as they don’t think things through a lot of the time
