Why is flat occiput considered a good trait?

Slightly roundish back of the head, like you posted looks good. Especially if combined with good forehead slope and top of the head. Add a great hair on top of that and everything blends super nicely.
There are cases when people have literally alien looking occiput and lack of facial forward growth. That shit is bad
