Why is height not as attractive to men as it is to women? Wouldn't it make sense evolutionary for it to also be attractive in women?

Of course, there are some (myself included) that like a tall woman but it rarely matters as much as it does to women, and the majority of guys who actually have a preference seem to prefer shorter women.

Wouldn't it give an evolutionary advantage for the mother to be tall as well to protect her children and also to pass on the genetics to further children? The only thing I can think of is being shorter means you need less food which means your children can get more.

idk maybe because society has made height in man so important than taller women seems dominating to many men. ( atleast i find tall women scary)
