This is purely an anecdote, but most of the people in my grade have wider-set eyes (rather than normal or close)

What could be the reason for this?

I've seen people online point it out as well, so it isn't only me

In chinese children, the IPD was found to have a positive correlation with skull size. Makes sense because if you go to curryland or brown populations alot of people have close IPDs
