Why is it difficult to get a lefort surgery?

I did it (Lefort1+BSSO+Impaction) , had an underbite.....definitely helped but the result isn't perfect, my midline now is off

He did and I'm actually quite angry because there isn't much that can be done other than another jaw surgery
Basically in pics where I laugh I look like shit because my midline isn't straight...

because if you're not recessed, they have to move the lower jaw as well (unless you want only impaction). why would they perform double jaw surgery on someone with normal projection
