Why is it impossible for me to approach a girl without having a knife in my hand?

I always tell myself not to have a knife in my hand when I approach girls. But I just can't do it without having a knife in my hand. Having a sharp stabby knife gives me confidence and makes me low inhib.

I tell myself DO NOT APPROACH HER WITH A KNIFE! But my brain doesn't listen. Over for me.
