I spend good time on these job applications. I even have experience and none of them are even giving me an interview

I have experience in the same type of job but apparently "not enough experience" I genuinely don't think you're meant to achieve success within the system "matrix" but I need money

Min wage is not money, you need to earn more.

Because some people never leave those jobs anymore, as there's less social mobility. It's not uncommon to see some 40 year old McDonald's employees these days, whereas it used to be purely young people job you'd do alongside your studies.

Here in Finland we had one McDonald's receive thousands of applications for a job opening, so take comfort that it's bad everywhere.

I recommend going through a temp agency, online applications get buried under spam and third worlders asking for visas. I work with at least one business that only hires through temp agencies and gives the temp workers the option for full time after a trial period.

Those are probably some copypasta that they send to everyone. You might be able to set yourself apart if you go in there and apply in person, but I just wouldn’t trust looking for a job on my own these days. I would go through an agency, a school or public program, maybe call unions and ask if they have any apprenticeship openings, all of that is gonna be less of a shot in the dark.
