Why is my hair so dry after washing it and really hard to comb through?

There are always knots of hair as I comb through my freshly washed hair, it feels so dry. It's so hard to comb through I always end up accidentally pulling out some strands of hair

Because of the oil stains that stay in your hair. When u put peppermint oil, rosemary oil and castor oil, if u dont get it out with shampoo, it will dry your scalp.

I don't use them

just use a conditioner theory

So what u use?
Shampoo and conditioner. The only reason why I use a shampoo is because there's no other way to get the hair product out of my hair

Use oils. Camelia,Coconut and Argan Oil.

They soften the hair, the hair looks much more full and healthy
So does that remove the knots of hair and makes it really easy to comb through my hair while styling it?

Ye i think so. Many things count but that should help.

One thing tho: I chemically straighten my hair every month (brazilian blowout, basically a keratin-based hair straightening treatment) to make it completely straight. Does the argan oil make this effect last less?

use shampoo a lot less, brush your hair to get the oils from the roots to the ends, use a load of conditioner.
if all else fails buy a hair-mask its like a hyper-conditioner and for growing out dead hair it's been an absolute miracle.

I’d advise you to wash your hair with cold water, often times when people wash their hair with hot/very hot water it strips away natural oils and when paired with aggressive shampoos the hair can become very dry. Also shampoo and condition twice a week rather than daily or every other day. You might have to experiment with how often you use shampoo but consistently using conditioner will yield results.

Why? Because your tap water is most likely hard and because shampoo and soap acts as an emulsifier which strips natural oils off your hair

Then how am I supposed to get the hair products I use daily out of my hair?

Unless you’re using heaps of hair products cold water will do the trick but if you still feel like it’s not enough to wash out the hair product then use small amounts of a gentle conditioner daily and then just shampoo twice a week to reinforce that.

I've tried getting hair products out just with conditioner but it doesn't do that

Have you tried a cleansing conditioner? It’s less abrasive than shampoo but essentially does the same thing with a focus on conditioning.
