Why are they trying so hard to not give me the scans?

I understand that they need a letter from the doctor with justification for the scans which I provided them with:

And they have ignored this for the last week :feelswah:
WTF IS THEIR PROBLEM??

Took me like two months of concerted effort to get my scans done I feel you. Every step of the way in ascension is an uphill battle

They don't give a shit. You have to repeatedly follow up.
True of most things in life honestly. You have to drive the process or nothing will ever happen.

Many orthodontists and imaging centers will give you a hard time or will outright refuse because they do not accept foreign referrals. Many orthodontists also do not understand the concept of someone getting CT scans in order to "shop around" with surgeons to get plans and so forth, as looksmaxxers tend to do. The standard practice is that the orthodontist only does scans if you have already committed to a jaw surgeon and the jaw surgeon has reached out to the them directly. But of course, you only want to commit if you are confident in the surgeon's plan aesthetically. So that's the impasse. In the USA I had to contact at least 12 orthodontists and imaging clinics before I found one who would do it.

That is why I love Turkey, I just casually walked in to scan center and asked for skull scans and bite scans and I got them all for 150 USD. Western nations are too terrified of everything regarding medicine and they are trying to monetize every fucking step. I am scared they will eventually ask prescriptions for daily vitamins

There are benefits for sure but I think on balance checks and balances are a force for good. The issue in Turkey is the quality of healthcare ranked on a par with Belarus.

It’s easier to get scans and surgeries sure, but there’s a compromise in quality and poor mechanisms for dealing with medical negligence.

I’m not saying the West has got it right either, far from it.

This narrative about ranking healtchare is a bit useless. Surely an average hospital in Norway will most probably be higher quality than an average hospital in Turkey. But a looksmaxxer with a decent IQ who is assumed to have necessary research skills and have decent money to spend will be able to extract a lot higher value in Turkey than most western countries
