Look at this JFL
Scarless orbital decompression. Literally did it in a minute.

I think just the fact that someone is drilling next to your eyeball is why it's considered risky

It’s a pretty safe procedure as far as I know

I remember reading here about how its painful jfl, pretty sure a mod said it too

But it seems safe and painless ngl, esp with someone like Taban
probably is safe with a surgeon who knows what he's doing but when something does go wrong then it might be kinda over ngl

Any surgery on the eye is risky because blindness is one of the factors bro.

Painful maybe, idk. But nothing compared to the pain of being a big eyed subhuman

Most eye surgeries for cosmetic reasons aren't even close to your eyeballs. Eyelid retraction, canthal tilt, blepharoplasties are all pretty safe. I'd say maybe OD runs that risk, but still, seems rlly low ngl.

Well high risk relatively compared to other surgeries is the main thing, it may be low risk overall but compared to every other thing you could do.

What's the point of doing this instead of just fixing thyroid/adrenal issues?

This is cosmetic. OD for Graves Disease is usually much much more severe.

You want forward eyes with more forward orbitals
Too deep set eyes don’t look good

Most eye surgeries are very safe nowadays, and on very risky ones they do it on 1 eye only first so in case it gets fucked up youre not blind

How does one get forward eyes unless they get a lefort 3 or orbital box osteotomy which are brutal surgeries beyond imagination.

I agree , I want the orbitals to ve more forward grown then set back . But there is no way.

OD also reduces PFL and medial canthus

Yes I regret that post I made. I didn't know as much back then.

Infraorbital malar implants do an excellent job of mimicking good midface movement. No need for doing osteotomies in this area for the average user here. Even orbital decompression is a meme for people on here they don't have bug eyes due protruding eyes but lack of bony undereye support.

Yeah I ended up watching a video of orbital decompression and it looks so fucking brutal.
