because you’re supposed to be naturally beautiful, they subconsciously know how rare being beautiful is, forcing it is “fake” or “unnatural” in their eyes

the whole point of good cosmetic surgery is for it to look like you never had it done
it’s mostly foids that have unnatural looking surgery done they always want to much and end up with a botched nose job and a disgusting amount of filler

They look down on it because it is taboo
And they are all cowards who worship societal preferences

Remember the video of Brendio when he was talking about Incels a few years ago. Back then it wasn’t mainstream so he had incredible amounts of hate. People were calling him a loser, making fun of the fact he is a virgin. Shaming him for wanting traditional views on life (his own preference).
Now everybody knows what it is, so people in the newest comments section of the video are defending him

The same people who’d were crucifying him for speaking the truth just a few years ago

I have no doubt that if the use of surgery becomes common, then it would not be looked down with shame. It’s surprising we live in a society where societal norms have enabled less shame regarding being a slut/dressing in tiny skirts… but getting surgery to improve your quality of life is labelled as “insecure”

Following that logic, a poor person trying to make money should be seen as insecure
A fat guy trying to lose weight should be seen as insecure

Wanting to improve =/= insecurity, but normies are too sheep minded. Their preferences and thoughts have already been dictated for them

It is probably based on the idea of unfair competition. It's funny, because in general those normies can't even compete with the natural beauty of the operated ones.

I think that, as a user said above, it is taboo and can be considered a form of rejection of your essence, your nature, can be seen as a form of deception, fraud etc..

But it's stupid, the body is yours and you can do with it what you want.

perfectly articulated tbh
i agree with 100%
however i feel glad to a sense that all of them are too scared or won’t get it because of societal norms going against it because at least it reduces the competition
if it was giga normalised you’d have so many people ascending via surgery which i think would be way worse
