No idea what you understood from what i said, i never said if a person doesnt have financal stability they cant do philosophy. i said its important aspect and otherwise is not impossible but hard to achieve. My argument was "we put you in the 16's century as a woman and testing out how much your words make value for the others.". There is few woman who could able to break that chain and yeah their enviroment was suitable (either their linked to rich families or relate to other philosopher(either wife or student))

i think it is debateable; tool to do philosophy is least material, i agree but creating that enviroment to do philosophy mostly require material like any other art. for example if you have everything right with a good material support you can even make renaissance (ref. to medici family) in the other hand without a good material support plus bad enviroment can cause like africans; i can name more woman philosopher rather than black male philosopher. ofc i dont wanna do wrong corellation but yeah it is just my opinion.
