I mean, bone graft is regularly used by maxfac surgeons to compensate maxillary bone defficiency in class III patients. Why surgeons don't simple graft bone in let's say chin or jaw for aesthetic purposes instead of all those synthetic materials that provoke bone loss and decay over time? I wish I could graft some bone in my chin instead of putting some plastic in it. Wouldn't care if I had to spend more or have a second procedure to extract the piece of bone.

I dont know for sure, but:

1) Bone graft can resorb, meaning you lose your enhancement completely/partially, leading to unpredictable results
2) If you need A LOT of projection/volume, like in cheek implants, where the fuck are you gonna get as much bone? They cannot take out your ribs or sth...
3) probably many maxfacs are just not experienced enough with it
