true, only a small percentage of spaniards can pass off as white since there’s still that ‘look’ that makes them different. even the ones with lighter features still have that distinct iberian structure that sets them apart. the moorish and mediterranean influence is pretty strong in most cases, so they never fully blend in with northern europeans. at best, they pass as ambiguously european, but never really the same as a true nordic or anglo
