i believe it is caused by a recessed maxilla because the maxilla is connected to your sinuses and whenever you sneeze, the air pushes from the back of your eye sockets forward, making the eye become more forwardly set. the opposite can be achieved through lefort (reposition the maxilla forward which makes the eyes more deeper set. but you would need more supraorbital, infraorbital, and overall projected orbitals for this.
TLDR: recessed maxlla is connected to ur sinus. whenever you sneeze or blow nose into tissue, you are exerting air force onto the back of your eye sockets, pushing eyes forward.
