Why don't people talk about this anymore?

Networking literally landed me a "job" at my friends business who makes 60k a month lmao
if you are broke you literally need networking
you would probably not succeed with 0 help and network.

One of my close friends I have known since 2 years just moved out 40 mins away for flight school.

One day my friend and I met this young 6'3 jacked guy on the pool. He was like 20 years old with a htb gf.

He was with a couple of friends and we just played volleyball with him. I didn't give a shit about who he was, but my friend actually got his insta and stayed in touch.

Smart move, now that guys making 600k by selling lights and roofing, and m working w him.

Networking is LAW.

Huge majority of people know this, I was able to get an exclusive position at a ski resort when I didn't even meet the minimum age requirement because I was friends with someone who had been working there for years

I agree, not talked about anywhere near enough

A lot of the reason my family has the money they have now is because of networking

my grandpa was friends with some extremely successful people (I'm talking hundreds of millions-billions range), and they were a huge help in getting my dad's first business to where it is now

Some other networks my dad made led to us being able to buy out another business, which is making even more money

My mom grew up quite poor, but got a six fig job at a large company due to connections from her business fraternity

Networks my family has also led me to gaining a lot of the knowledge and mentoring I have today

This is why I would argue that being born wealthy and connected is more important than being born attractive to having a good life

Just loiter around country clubs and resorts theory

I didn't do a college assignment in the past two years because everytime I ask someone to do it for me and that I'll repay them later, then I share it with someone and tell them to do another assignment for me

Etc....

I litteraly put in no work and I'm still doing good just because I know how to ask for something

High trust features on top baby
