Now, first and foremost, the PSL system is one of the most accurate methods of knowing how facially beautiful an individual is and etc. The PSL system puts someone's ratios, health indicators, frontal harmony, side harmony coloring, dimorphism, and etc together to know how facially beautiful an individual is. But recently, in the looksmax scene, there have been many greys who have been saying that "psl is cope" or "appeal is what matters". What individuals don't exactly understand is that PSL IS APPEAL

One of the largest errors individuals make is believing you can simply look at a person and have their PSL rating spot on. That's not measurement. You require actual data/their facial ratios, symmetry, health indicators (like skin tone and whites of eyes), frontal harmony, and side profile harmony. Without those, you're basically guessing blind. A decent PSL rating requires measurement. Just as you can't estimate somebody's body fat percentage by eye alone, you can't really make a good judge of facial aesthetics without dissecting the structure. Seasoned raters can definitely make educated rough estimate guesses, but even they are making intuitive judgments based on the same criteria PSL is trying to measure directly. One of the least appreciated aspects of PSL is sexual dimorphism — to what degree a person's face fits into stereotypically masculine or feminine traits. Higher degrees of dimorphism correlate with attractiveness within evolutionary psychology immediately. In men, characteristics like a forward-jutting jaw, thicker brow bone, and more angular face indicate higher testosterone levels, which in the past signaled dominance and genetic robustness. In females, higher estrogen is usually reflected in features like a less emphasized chin, more rounded mouth, and increased cheekbone-to-jaw ratio. These are not only beautiful — they are natural cues that hint at fertility and strength to the human brain.
That's why PSL employs dimorphism as a basic measure. It's not relative "appeal" it's based on biological response systems. However, on the other hand extremely aggressive signs of dimorphism can also be a flaw as no woman wants an ogre. That's why PSL has the ratio chart to show the most perfect ratios. Some people have TOO much forward growth or dimorphism.

However, PSL will always stay the gold standard because you lazy bastards couldn't come up with a better scale So, if you keep saying "psl is cope" and "appeal matters" remember, you couldn't come up with a better scale yourself, because PSL is one of the closest to perfection.

Hate it because it has some level of scientific nuance, but it's not enough, and it overlooks a ton of other measurements and requirements recognized in the scientific literature to make attractiveness, it also has a particular preference for hypermasculine faces, which day-by-day are becoming less and less appealing to women (young women at least). PSL just doesn't go deep enough for me (pause), but really there's no better alternative for now.

But even that’s incredibly difficult. There isn’t a single study that tells us, for example, whether a 5% deviation from the average IPD for your ethnicity actually affects attractiveness and by how much.

And then you'd somehow have to factor in subjective aspects like appeal, height, and who knows what else.

It’s a monumental task. Anyone smart enough to pull it off is probably smart enough not to waste their time doing it, lol. Ironically, the “ideal” system for measuring attractiveness would be so complex and precise that it becomes unusable. Too much math, too many variables and measuring for the average .org user to be able to get any value from it.

I believe the complete opposite. Life is too short, man, that's true, and that's exactly why I want to live it to the fullest. Sadly, the system is rigged against us, so you have to sell the fantasy of dignity and take what works. Dignity does not pay rent, but connections and being ruthless when needed does. I've been both very poor and comfortable enough, I'm lucky to have a hard-working father who managed to make a name for himself, I refuse to go back there.

Specially after interacting with high value people, I'm friends with the children of very wealth entrepreneurs or families with generational wealth. After you get a taste of that life, you just can't avoid wanting it. I don't preach absolute moral corruption, I wouldn't kill a man for money, but I'm certainly willing to use social manipulation to get where I want to be.
