They will tell you to adjust your behaviour. I.e. let's say an ugly dude reports that he was dating a girl and she didn't call him back then he freaked out in fear of losing her sending her a hundred messages and begging her to respond back. The PUAs will tell him that his needy behaviour is exactly why she was turned off and give him the advice that he should date multiple women instead and not care about losing one because that will make the women feel like he doesn't depend on him and thus increase his value in their eyes.

The truth is he never had a chance to begin with because he is ugly. She wouldn't have called him back anyway. If he had acted like an alpha she still would have realized that he is ugly and not given a fuck about him.
