For one,it is well established that something permanent cannot be impermanent at the same time and vice versa,the two cannot be a coherent whole,as they are mutually contradictorary.
one cannot interact or cause the other either.this is basic logic.
seeing that qualia are impermanent and arisen and ceasing,there can be no eternal soul that perceives them.the self being an emergent illusion of changing(and thusnon-enduring) electromagnetic stimuli and synapxes in the brain.
